Kirigami is the Japanese word for the art of papercutting. Papercutting is the art of paper designs. Exacting lines and ingenious patterns that are all hand-made and making three-dimensional scenes pop out visually from the paper.
Engravers must exert their imagination, and they must delete secondary parts and compose the main body properly, abstractly, and boldly. This tradition from as early as the 6th century in China has inspired us to craft this Birds Kirigami Earring as a homage to this authentic handicraft.
